Yuan’s First Starbucks Experience on his 3rd Birthday

We went on a small trip to Starbucks in Aug.22 to celebrate Yuan’s 3rd birthday (which is a day behind). And every one of us had a great time with the place as there are no just-to-be-seen crowds that are usually in there. However, I must concede that holding Yuan’s birthday in Starbucks is a little bit extravagant for a family of four with one breadwinner but it’s really worth every peso because of the great ambience and good food. And besides Yuan’s birthday only happens once a year so a little of something comforting, relaxing and luxurious could be just right though. And in addition to that, it is also in the bible that we should enjoy the fruit of our labor. Here's the passage from the bible:

Eccl 3:13 (KJV):
"And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labour, it is the gift of God."

Yuan chose his cake whereas we select the choco frap (non-caffeine drinks) for them and they like it very much that they didn’t even want to loosen a hold of it. They both have mouthful bites on the chocolate cake and choco frap while they play around.

And of course, I and hubby had fun taking our pictures together while they’re enjoying their thing.

I can’t conjure up the words to say how I feel that moment as I gazed at Yuan and Gabee that looked so happy and satiated. It’s somewhat a stress relief to have them enjoy their youth on that sense. Also, the good thing is that no one pooped which means less headache for us and thus we can still go to our next activity for the day — Arcade Games!

Our next stop is at Quantum Arcade Games to play a few games which end up only to — CAR RACING because the children are a bit drowsy after the snack and a little trip to the supermarket. To infer the day’s activity, it was fun.
