After a few days of blogging the Sunday preaching, I’m off to write how Gabee’s second birthday was. Well, it’s just a simple one on the day of his birthday because our plan is to have a joint celebration on November 1 with my sister-in-law, Annabelle who’s also celebrating her 25th birthday in November 3. However, the plan has changed because our church conducted an outing on November 1. We opt for the latter activity for two reasons. First, we are not sure if we can have enough budgets for the family celebration and second, the kids are excited and happy to have a swimming activity in a real pool.
Though October 26 was last Sunday (we barely stay at home on Sundays because of the church service), I still managed to prepare a refrigerator cake for Gabee’s second birthday the night before his birthday. I made the peaches and cream cake based from Connie’s online recipe.
When we got home around 9:30 pm, we took our dinner first then we sung Gabee the “Happy Birthday” song and we feasted over the peaches and cream cake. It’s a very simple celebration but still a memorable one for our family.

Belated Happy Birthday to Gabee. That's a delicious looking ref cake. I'm sure the whole family enjoyed it.
Thank you Rachel...and yes, we really enjoyed it.
